HW Creativity
Social media makes people more creative and keeps evolving. in this post i'd like post about people who posts many videos on the Youtube, popular video sharing platform. when Youtube first came out, people didn't expect that posting vidoes on the Youtube can make some money and it will be one person's job. However, as people post many videos on the Youtube, they realized it can make some money in the future.
According to HP, during three months in 2007 600,000 videos were posted on the Youtube. At this point in 2018, it would be much more than 600,000 (HP) and most famous Youtuber makes 4 millions net total in a year (BA).
How Youtube can be this big? Every Youtuber had to be differentiate each others from their competitors to make more money. This made them to be more creative. when you go to Youtube, you can see many different types of video such as music, movie, entertainment, Mukbang: you eat food and talk at the Video and sports. How people can think eating food on the video can make some money? It would be impossible without Youtube.

Modeling Reality with Virtual Worlds
Last year i was considering to buy Play Station (PS4) after final. Since i had no idea how it work, i researched about the games that i can play with PS4. There was one interesting game named Driveclub. It was really interesting. It doesn't really look like reality, but i could tell it might be similar to the real driving. It started with a small thing such as changing avatar (NYtimes), but we have progressed it a lot.
Many people are thinking that we can use Modeling reality skill to the educations, healthcare and delivering works (Forbes). In my opinion we can use reality modeling for the dangerous job first. There are many firefighters who pass away while they are helping for the people. However if we can make a nice program for preparing those event, it might be helpful for them to prevent unexpected events such as not normal. As we create movie with those skill such as Avartar (WSJ), we can create new scenarios for those events.
Also, It can be use to overcome psychological traumas. There are many people who are struggling with traumas in their lives. if they know that is a modeled reality and try to do it, definitely will be helpful for them to overcome it such as driving, acrophobia and Post Traffic stress disorder.
I also read many comments about Modeling reality to see how people think. many people agree to use Modeling reality, because it has many possibility that we can utilize. If we can construct a good program, it will be really helpful for the any type of business.
but on the other hand, it's open to the bad possibilities as well. Many people also worried about deceptional use. As many programs that was invented to help people are a mean for the scammers right now. If we want to use modeling reality more wide, we need to construct really strong security as well.
If we can overcome the usage problem. in the future our lives will be different. in the many situations instead of getting experience at the real life, we will practice through the modeling reality and be more skillful at the real place. It can be anywhere business, dangerous work and any type of place that required to be more skillful.

Blog about Twitter
Discussion on the Twitter is very interesting for me. first of all the way we communicated was interesting by using Re-tweet. on the other hand, i could see all re-tweets easily by searching up with our hashtags #3810net1 I would say it is convenient with the Re-tweet function. Since we are having online class, it is limited to share our information if we use only blogs and blackboard. but through the twitter discussion i could see how people think based on which articles and what time they left those comments.
Black board discussion is very not communicative option. we have to go to the platform through the Baruch College website and it is little bit complicated compare to Twitter discussion.
In-class discussion is very active. we can listen to all opinions and respond to it directly.
but on the other hand, it can be a hard way to communicate for the people who doesn't like in-class discussion due to nervous or language problem.
Blog: Social networking sites
In 21th century, new media is really close to our lives. we are using cell-phone more than 10 hours every day. I'd like to compare four of networking sites which we use every day.
Facebook is most famous platform among these four sites. my impression on Facebook is advertising platform. since i have used it for long time, i know it wasn't at the beginning. but when visited it and saw it as a new eye. it seemed like a contaminated platform by advertisement.
Twitter is an interesting platform regarding communication. It shows what people think on many recent issues and news. i can see every comments that people left after they saw those issues. I believe the fact that they can communicate with everyone who left those comment is one of main point.
Snap-chat is an unique platform. People send short video and communicate through those short video. But my impression on snapchat is that it ls difficult to use for the adult users. they use unique way to communicate and it might be hard to use for new users.
Youtube is a platform that people can post their video. and people communicate through the comments below the video. also, after watching it new video comes up which is relevant to those video. In my opinion, it has big potential to grow up. People can post any video that they want and advertisement doesn't change any information. unlike Facebook.

What are some ways (corporate and otherwise) that Facebook can be used? What are the benefits of Facebook to society? Be specific. Is there a "dark side"?
It has been about 15 years since Mark Zuckerberg launched FACEBOOk. Facebook has changed many people's life style. most of people check there Facebook first when they wake up. Also, It's not surprise when people miss their friend's birthday and saying "You should update your birthday on the Facebook, that's only way we can recognize birthday in 21st century" what about business side? they use Facebook usefully as well since Facebook has added many functions for many years (Facebook Search: Facebook adding search feature). Let's see how they can use Facebook and talk about it's beneficiary and downside.
Commercially they use Facebook, it's easy to find some Facebook page post really nice food on the Facebook. Many small food businesses, they pay for the advertising or they invite people and serve great meal for free.
Facebook has such a great date tool. They collect all the data's from their users and sell it or utilize it. It is not surprise anymore that you searched up new laptop on the google and when you go to Facebook. They might have laptop commercial on the main advertising page.
Are they beneficial? They are beneficial for main purpose. Many people communicate through Facebook and create many small communities on the Facebook. It's nor surprise people search Facebook plea market on the Facebook group page. like this Facebook made community really active.

Blog vs Wiki
Ten years ago blogs became really popular they opened new door for the networking. people were able to communicate by leaving comment or tagging URL or post itself. and now wiki made us to make collaborated work. Those two are similar. They explored new way to communicate with other people. But the way they were invented is totally different. (more on how you build your own Wikipedia)
Wiki is a information that people can change any time. It's getting bigger and bigger whenever new user comes and leave their ideas. but on the other hand, it could be biased information, so people use lots of citations from other media.
Blog is different people leave their opinion on their blog like right now what i am doing and other people can leave their comments below and can exchange their information through that. But outside user who is not the one made post can not change any information on the blog.
Both has good side and bad side. Wiki prevents biased information by many other sources but people can change your opinion whenever they want. but on the blog they can't do that but opinion used to be biased.
here is the point. convergence is one way that they can take advantages for both side.
Convergence can be one way that they can change their form of networking. Wiki is trying to invent their new way to go (Wikipedia looks hard at their culture) and blogs needs to be changed since they haven't changed for a while. i don't believe they have been progressed on their main form. but if they can find a way that they can take advantages from both side it would be great.
One disadvantage from wikipedia is that people can not communicate constantly based on their information. because they can not leave any comments on it and will not know who changed information. in this case i believe they can collaborate each other at the same or different flatform. so people can leave comments on the information and constantly communicate by blog name.
